The impact factor (IF) 2020 of Journal of Flow Chemistry is 2.786.

The Journal of Flow Chemistry, the periodical of the Flow Chemistry Society published by Akadémiai Kia, was selected for coverage in the Science Citation Index in February, 2013. The quarterly journal was launched in August 2011, which means that the official impact factor was reached within two years.

As of January 2018, Springer and Akadémiai Kiadó are co- publishing the official journal of the Flow Chemistry Society with a publishing model of a Hybrid (Transformative Journal).

The Journal of Flow Chemistry, however, is a groundbreaking initiative publishing paper on the fast growing field of continuous operations of chemical reactions that offer numerous benefits and advantages including safe, fast, economic, green and sustainable synthesis.
