International Conference of Microreaction Technology is the first in the Southern hemisphere. This global region has its own interests and needs: agriculture, renewable energy, resources, and health. Just recently, Australia has become a major player in Space exploration, heading up to a leading position, and creating a new sense of enthusiasm much like the space programs in the 1950s and 60s. This IMRET will continue to approach current challenges and new opportunities, including the ones mentioned above.
